GRIFFIN
WILKINS

Hi there! My name is Griffin Wilkins and welcome to my website! I am a New York-based artist--coming up on 1 official year of living in my favorite city! I’m a recent graduate of Florida State University, where I received my BFA in Musical Theatre, and was born and raised just south of Boston in a town called Walpole, MA.
My performing journey started when I was 7 years old when I saw Michael Flatley’s Feet of Flames Riverdance show on my grandmother’s old VHS machine. It made me fall in love with the stage, and I promptly started taking Irish Dance lessons–traveling the world competing and dancing. When I turned 12, I realized I loved the performance aspect much more than the competition, so I transitioned over to musical theatre and immediately fell in love. I pursued this through Franklin School for the Performing Arts--my second home where I could blossom in all areas of theatre and really learn how to find myself onstage.
Growing up, I always lived with the attitude of putting 110% of my effort into everything I do, so I jumped head first into the deep end of theatre and never looked back. The feeling of being on stage, being able to do what I love, while giving the audience a chance to feel right alongside you, is an indescribable feeling that I crave and want to pursue for the rest of my life. It’s my way to forget about the stresses of the day-to-day, all while emoting in a safe space. When I’m not performing, you can find me hiking and exploring the outdoors.
That, or fending off ginger jokes…
Thanks for stopping by!!
